Summer is finally over! BUT! Our wedding films are far from done for the year 🙂 So worry not Seven Pines fans! Anyways, we are SO EXCITED for Fall. Why? 1) Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Duh. 2) It’s no longer 1,363 degrees outside! YAY! So, let’s celebrate the change of season with a wedding highlight film!

It’s not often we find ourselves choked up while editing. But MAN, our “allergies” were sure getting to us as we watched Wesley’s dad see her for the first time in her wedding dress. What an amazing moment. This was a BEAUTIFUL wedding out in Ojai, and we really had a blast working with this lovely couple. Congrats Wesley & Ryan!

Hey friends!

Hope Summer is treating you well! We’re loving it over here at Seven Pines, because we get to spend nearly every weekend with our awesome couples 🙂 “Awesome couples? Like who?” You might be asking. Like Jill & Tim! (I know, that was an amazing transition).

Jill & Tim had a beautiful beach themed wedding right on Mission Bay, including A PERSONALIZED FIREWORKS SHOW (not to be confused with SeaWorld’s fireworks show, which was happening at the same time…at the same place…because that’s what it actually was) 😛 It was a fantastic day, full of laughter and tears. We wish you two the very best! Enjoy!

Hi Friends!

Today we want to bring you something a little different! Here at Seven Pines, we offer two types of creative edits. Our 3-5 minute Highlight Film is perfect for sharing with family and friends, and a great way to relive your day without having to plan on sitting down for 8 hours 🙂 Meanwhile, our 15-25 minute film is still edited in the same creative style, but each part of your day is given more room to “breathe”. We also include most (if not all) of your vows, and toasts.

Normally, we only blog our Highlight Films (Don’t worry if you get a longer film though, we host those too on private pages!). Being 3-5 minutes, they’re the perfect length to share with the interwebs. But then we started thinking, “Hey!…” (then we lost our train of thought. But then we remembered!) “Hey, we should start blogging full Films here and there!” So! Pop some popcorn and grab a tasty beverage! Because today we’re bringing you Samantha & Yubin! These two were such a fun couple to film. Surrounded by family and close friends, they exchanged heartfelt vows to begin their new chapter in life together. Congrats to the newlyweds! Enjoy!

Hey everyone!

Ok, so it’s definitely kind of lame to lead a conversation off with “how about that weather?” But seriously, how about that weather? Spring is in the air! Now, as Southern Californians the difference between spring and winter is… non-existent. BUT! With spring comes the beginning of the wedding season! So for those of you who love to watch these wonderful little films, your time has come! (So at this point, I just googled “When does spring start?” And apparently it starts tomorrow. So it’s technically still winter. Shoot me.)

ANYWHOOOOO, let’s go ahead and get the 2013 started! Today we bring you Andriana & Nathan. They got married in the heart of downtown LA in a beautiful and historic hotel. It was a blast spending their big day with them and we loved putting together this highlight film. Enjoy!

Happy belated New Year!

We hope everyone had a great holiday season! With this evening’s film, we have officially wrapped 2012! It was a great year filled with lots of growth for our little studio. Now we start to look ahead to 2013 and, oh look, it starts with a wedding this weekend! Well isn’t that perfect timing?

Anyways, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. For our final film of the 2012 season, we bring you an amazing Palm Springs wedding. Shannon and Raphael wanted to go with a vintage theme and they killed it! Vintage details? psh, they didn’t just have details, they had a full on 1920’s Flapper dance routine! Hello again!

Now that we’ve got this blog up and running, we should probably use it! As summer turns to fall, the wedding season winds down. This makes us sad, because we love what we do. But the bright side is that we have more time to blog! So, keep in touch this fall as we post some of our favorite weddings from the 2012 season!

And we’ll start right now! Tonight we bring you Jesse & Maya. This wedding was fantastic! It was set up in the hills above San Francisco on a beautiful open ranch. As you’ll see in the video Jesse and Maya didn’t simply follow the typical wedding template. They instead made it entirely unique, personal, and intimate. I won’t spoil anymore! Enjoy!
